Just before the transfer window wound to a close last night January 31st, Garden City’s Wave making radio station WAVE FM 91.7 PORT HARCOURT confirmed it had sealed a deal within the range of (£91.7 million Nigerian/ British pounds) for highly rated OAP OLALEKAN OLAJOLUMO (popularly known as OLALEKAN DA O-SQUARE by his port Harcourt fans and VJ O-SQUARE Oshaprapra one of Lagos by his Lasgidi fans).
OLALEKAN DA O-SQUARE hit the Lagos airwaves in 2015 joining LAGOS TV as host of the highly successful Entertainment Show ORIJINAL NAIJA TV SHOW (O9TS) from 1:30 – 3pm weekdays.
He got snapped by then new radio station JORDAN 93.9 FM Abuja as the first GENERAL MANAGER of the station in 2017 before another Lagos based radio station INSPIRATION FM 92.3 FM snapped him up as Deputy GGM/ Head programmes, content and Strategy in 2018.
He left the VI radio station as Group Head Broadcast Services DHBS (programmes, news and sports) of the IFM group of stations in Lagos, Ibadan and Uyo.
