Brazil’s elimination in the round of 16, at the hands of Croatia, put an end to Tite’s time on the bench. The ‘Selecao’ coach experienced his last game in charge of the team.

The first name to appear on the list of possible candidates is that of Pep Guardiola, but he is not the only one. The coach from Santpedor is very happy at Manchester City and his departure is unlikely.

Now, ‘UOL Esporte’ talked about another coach, the Real Madrid one. Brazil want Carlo Ancelotti to be in charge of the ‘Selecao’ in the coming years. The Italian has already been contacted by the Brazilian Confederation, last October. He postponed a possible negotiation until Tite left the post definitively after the World Cup.

The Italian coach is clear that his priority is to finish the season with Real Madrid and, after the summer, to take over the Brazilian national team if he reaches an agreement with the Confederation. Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until June 2024, so he would have to negotiate with the club if he wants to leave next summer.

In the event of an agreement between Ancelotti, Real Madrid and Brazil, the national side will have to find an interim coach for the matches they have before the Italian is released
